I'm the chocolate and you're Mr. Peanutbutter.

OMG, it's been awhile, right?

I seriously almost gave up on this project trying to record this episode.

It's not that hard, but it can be tricky. What I usually ask people is to record their voices over there, I record mine here and then, Leo, my brave editor, puts the two tracks together and add some cool effects like the claps and the songs.

BUT, for THIS episode, what happened is that people recorded not only their voice but also mine, creating a duplicate almost impossible to erase. Not once, not twice, but three times. With three different people. haha

I'm really grateful for everyone who answered my call and took the time to record with me. Even if you're not in this final version, I must say it was a pleasure to watch this episode that I now have memorized completely, and to chat with you guys.

What calms me is the fact that, recently, Raphael Bob-Waksberg said that they haven't finished making Season 6 yet, so, we probably can still complete this on time, hooray!

So, without further ado, let's keep this countdown running!

Today, we'll watch S01E10 - "One Trick Pony". Turn your Netflix on and get ready to press play!

In this episode I had to pleasure to have as my guest Rachel, from New York!

We had an excellent talk about:

  • All the art references in BoJack - what's your favorite painting?

  • How this is the last happy episode before the mood in the season dramatically changes.

  • Todd's revenge on BoJack - was it intentional or not?

  • Quentin Tarantulino - this is the interview I mentioned that has all the other options Raphael presented for Lisa to choose.

  • My five cents on honeydew - like Raphael, I don't have anything against it! But my guest's hating choice will surprise you. lol

  • Pinky Penguin - one of the BEST side characters in the first season.

Bonus:

  • Best advice from this episode: never mix friendship and work.

  • Friendly reminder: maturity has nothing to do with age.

  • The truth about living in NY and SF.
